Our Story

Blue Heron Landing is not just a bed and breakfast; it's a testament to our shared passion for hospitality and desire to create a unique experience for our guests. As Stevensville residents for over 30 years, and lifelong competitive sailors with an Olympics and 2 PanAm Games between us, we are excited to share our piece of heaven on the water’s edge with you.

Explore and Relax

Nestled on 13 tree-lined acres on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, our location offers the perfect blend of a peaceful retreat on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and proximity to local charm and area attractions. We are 15 miles from historic Annapolis, 25 miles from bustling Baltimore, and 45 miles from all that Washington, DC has to offer. Blue Heron Landing is the ideal base for your explorations.

Our carefully curated rooms include all the modern amenities with your comfort in mind. Start your day with a hearty continental breakfast, enjoy an afternoon refreshment in our cozy common areas, and unwind with a breathtaking sunset.

In season, enjoy our inground saltwater pool and extra-large spa. From bicycles, tennis racquets, fishing poles, and lawn games, we've got you covered.

Hospitality Beyond Expectations

At Blue Heron Landing, our commitment to your satisfaction goes beyond providing a comfortable bed in a spacious home. We take pride in offering personalized service. Let us recommend local hidden gems or arrange special touches for a celebrated milestone.

Meet Our Resident Companion

Adding to the warmth of Blue Heron Landing is our friendly German Shepherd, Lily. This furball is a part of our family and is eager to welcome you with a wagging tail. Rest assured, she loves making new friends, adding an extra layer of charm to your stay.
